Post: Technical Officer Objectives of the Programme To assist the Member States to improve access to quality essential drugs and other medicines, as part of progress towards Universal Health Coverage (UHC); through technical assistance and capacity building on aspects of medicines policy, procurement, and management through an improved regional evidence base and stakeholder participation. Education : Degree in medicine, or health sciences or pharmacy with a post-graduate degree in pharmacology/pharmacy, or public health with a specialization in medicine policy and management. Desirable: Training in public health/ management/public administration and/or, pharmaceutical policy and management Experience Essential: At least ten (10) years' relevant experience, including considerable experience obtained in the international context in low- and middle-income countries, in the development and implementation of country health programmes involving pharmaceutic
